Holiday Cottage - Accommodation

Our cottage is strictly non-smoking.

Sleeps 6 in three bedrooms (2 twins and 1 double) plus 2 on a bed settee. Well-behaved pets may be accepted if agreed on booking.

Our holiday cottage is furnished and decorated to a high standard throughout, with plenty of period charm and character coupled with modern luxuries. There are wooden floors in most rooms and the cottage has full central heating and a log-burning stove.  As you would expect, we provide towels and bedlinen.  Broadband Internet access is free.

Downstairs

Image of large family lounge in our Yorkshire Dales Holiday Cottage The sizeable family lounge has satellite TV, a double sofa bed and two additional sofas.  A great place to relax.  You can look across to the river and you're quite likely to see Appersett's very own peacock and peahen.

 

 

Yorkshire Dales Cottage - Accommodation - Kitchen

 

The dining-kitchen is very spacious and well appointed, with excellent self-catering facilities and table space for up to ten. It has a washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and separate freezer, microwave, halogen hob and electric oven.

There is also a wonderful little snug that seats four around a wood-burning stove (and a small television/DVD player) with an under-stairs wooden chest for board games. We have a pretty good selection of books, games and jigsaws for all ages.

There is a downstairs WC.

 

Upstairs

Yorkshire Dales Cottage - Accommodation - Bedroom 1We have a master bedroom with a king-sized double bed, dressing table and fitted wardrobes and lovely views over the hills to the west.

There are two twin-bedded rooms - one with a chest of drawers and small wardrobe and the other with a large built-in wardrobe with shelving. There is plenty of space for a cot in this room if required. The large, modern bathroom has an over-bath shower as well as the usual facilities.

 

All the rooms are all beautifully presented.

 

In addition

Outside the cottage at the front is a small south-facing terrace garden with garden furniture and BBQ. Behind the cottage is another small garden/sitting area with magnificent views over the Dales. Parking is available by the side and front of the cottage and across the road.
